Job Description: Ophthalmologist Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled junior ophthalmologist consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of eye conditions and diseases, including cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing eye exams, interpreting test results, prescribing corrective lenses or medications, and performing surgical procedures under the supervision of a senior ophthalmologist.

Responsibilities:

Conducting patient consultations and examinations
Performing diagnostic tests and interpreting results
Prescribing medications, corrective lenses, and/or surgical procedures
Providing pre-operative and post-operative care to patients
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed

Requirements:

Medical degree and board certification in ophthalmology
Active state medical license
Experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of eye conditions and diseases
Excellent communication skills and bedside manner
Ability to work well in a team environment
