Job Description

POSITION ICU Nurse Incharge QUALIFICATION • B.Sc Nursing / GNM • Valid Nursing Council Registration • Critical Care / ICU certification will be an added advantage EXPERIENCE • Experienced ICU Nurse required • Previous experience as ICU Incharge / Senior ICU Staff Nurse preferred • Strong hands-on experience in Critical Care Nursing will be given preference KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Supervise and manage day-to-day nursing operations of the ICU • Ensure quality and safe nursing care for critically ill patients • Allocate duties and prepare nursing staff schedules as per ICU requirements • Monitor patient condition, vital signs and treatment response • Coordinate with Intensivists, Consultants, RMO and other healthcare professionals • Ensure proper medication administration and adherence to prescribed treatment • Monitor ventilated patients and ensure appropriate nursing care • Assist doctors during emergency procedures, intubation, resuscitation and other ICU interventions • Ensure proper maintenance and availability of ICU equipment and emergency supplies • Monitor infection-control practices and ensure compliance with hospital protocols • Supervise nursing documentation, patient charts, medication records and handover procedures • Conduct regular nursing rounds and ensure proper shift handovers • Identify clinical deterioration and ensure timely escalation to the treating Consultant • Manage and mentor ICU nursing staff and support their clinical development • Ensure compliance with NABH, patient-safety and hospital quality standards • Handle patient/attendant concerns professionally and coordinate with the concerned departments REQUIRED SKILLS • Strong ICU and Critical Care Nursing experience • Good knowledge of ventilator and critical-care patient management • Excellent emergency response and clinical coordination skills • Strong leadership and team-management abilities • Good communication and documentation skills • Ability to work under pressure in a critical-care environment • Professional and patient-centric approach JOB TYPE • Full-Time • ICU Based • Shift / Roster Duty SALARY 💰 Best in Industry – Negotiable based on qualification and experience BENEFITS • Leadership role in a multi-speciality hospital • Good Critical Care exposure • Supportive multidisciplinary clinical team • Career growth and professional development opportunities 📩 Interested candidates may share their updated CV along with qualification, total ICU experience, current location, expected salary and notice period.
