POSITION Consultant Paediatrician QUALIFICATION • MD Paediatrics • DNB Paediatrics • DCH • Valid NMC / Assam Medical Council Registration EXPERIENCE • Experienced candidates preferred • Candidates with strong Paediatric OPD, IPD and emergency experience will be given preference KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Conduct Paediatric OPD consultations and manage IPD patients • Diagnose and treat common and complex paediatric conditions • Manage neonatal and paediatric emergencies as per expertise • Provide comprehensive care for infants, children and adolescents • Monitor growth, development, nutrition and vaccination status • Manage paediatric infections, respiratory illnesses, gastrointestinal disorders and nutritional problems • Provide newborn and postnatal care as required • Assess and stabilize critically ill paediatric patients and coordinate escalation when required • Review laboratory investigations, imaging and other diagnostic reports • Provide appropriate treatment plans and follow-up care • Counsel parents/attendants regarding diagnosis, medication, nutrition, vaccination and follow-up • Coordinate with Neonatologists, Intensivists, General Physicians, Surgeons and other specialists • Maintain accurate case sheets, prescriptions, progress notes and discharge summaries • Participate in emergency/on-call duties as per hospital requirements • Follow hospital, infection-control, patient-safety and clinical protocols REQUIRED SKILLS • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in Paediatrics • Good knowledge of paediatric and neonatal emergency management • Excellent communication and parental counselling skills • Strong clinical decision-making abilities • Good multidisciplinary coordination • Compassionate, professional and patient-centric approach JOB TYPE • Full-Time Consultant • OPD + IPD + Emergency Responsibilities SALARY 💰 Best in Industry – Negotiable based on qualification and experience BENEFITS • Good paediatric patient exposure • Supportive multidisciplinary clinical team • Opportunity for professional growth and development • Long-term career opportunity 📩 Interested MD/DNB/DCH Paediatricians may share their updated CV along with total experience, current location, expected salary and notice period.
