POSITION Consultant General Physician / General Medicine Specialist QUALIFICATION • MD General Medicine • DNB General Medicine • Valid NMC / Assam Medical Council Registration EXPERIENCE • Experienced candidates preferred • Candidates with strong OPD, IPD and emergency medicine experience will be given preference KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Conduct General Medicine OPD consultations and manage IPD patients • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions • Manage diabetes, hypertension, infections, respiratory disorders and other general medical cases • Attend to emergency medical cases and provide initial stabilization • Conduct regular inpatient rounds and monitor treatment response • Review and interpret laboratory investigations, ECG and other diagnostic reports • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide follow-up care • Manage medical complications in post-operative and critically ill patients • Provide pre-operative medical assessment and clearance when required • Coordinate with Cardiologists, Neurologists, Nephrologists, Gastroenterologists, Surgeons, Intensivists and other specialists • Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment, medication, lifestyle modification and follow-up • Maintain accurate case sheets, prescriptions, progress notes and discharge summaries • Participate in emergency/on-call duties as per hospital requirements • Follow NABH, infection-control, patient-safety and hospital clinical protocols REQUIRED SKILLS • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills • Good knowledge of acute and emergency medicine • Ability to independently manage OPD and IPD cases • Strong clinical decision-making abilities • Excellent communication and patient counselling skills • Good multidisciplinary coordination • Professional, ethical and patient-centric approach JOB TYPE • Full-Time Consultant • OPD + IPD + Emergency Responsibilities SALARY 💰 Best in Industry – Negotiable based on qualification and experience BENEFITS • Good patient volume and diverse clinical exposure • Supportive multidisciplinary clinical team • Professional learning and development opportunities • Long-term career growth 📩 Interested MD/DNB General Medicine candidates may share their updated CV along with total experience, current location, expected salary and notice period.
