Position Consultant General Ophthalmologist (OPD) Qualification • MS Ophthalmology • DNB Ophthalmology Registration • Valid NMC / State Medical Council Registration --- Experience • Experienced candidates preferred • Candidates should be capable of independently managing comprehensive Ophthalmology OPD services --- Key Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive Eye OPD consultations • Diagnose and manage cataract, glaucoma, refractive errors, dry eye, conjunctival disorders, and other common ophthalmic conditions • Perform comprehensive eye examinations including slit-lamp evaluation, refraction, fundoscopy, and tonometry • Interpret diagnostic investigations such as OCT, Visual Field, Fundus Photography, and B-Scan as required • Manage ophthalmic emergencies and provide appropriate referrals when necessary • Counsel patients regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, medications, and preventive eye care • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records • Coordinate with Retina, Cornea, Glaucoma, Cataract, and Oculoplasty specialists for multidisciplinary patient care --- Skills Required • Strong clinical expertise in General Ophthalmology • Excellent diagnostic and patient management skills • Good communication and patient counselling abilities • Professional, ethical, and patient-centric approach • Ability to work independently in a high-volume OPD setup --- Job Type • Full-Time Consultant (OPD) --- Salary 💰 Best in Industry (Negotiable based on qualification and experience) --- Benefits • High OPD patient flow • Modern ophthalmic diagnostic equipment • Supportive clinical team and management • Long-term career growth opportunity --- 📩 Interested candidates may share their updated CV along with current salary, expected salary, and notice period.
