Job Description

Overview: The role of BAMS/BHMS RMO (Resident Medical Officer) is crucial within the healthcare organization as it involves providing primary medical care and overseeing patient treatment and well-being. This role also requires working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive gynecological examinations and health assessments. Diagnose and treat various reproductive health issues. Manage prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care for expectant mothers. Perform surgical procedures as necessary, including cesarean sections and hysterectomies. Prescribe medications and recommend lifestyle changes to promote health. Educate patients on family planning, contraception, and sexual health. Lead and supervise patient care teams, ensuring effective delivery of care. Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual patient needs. Conduct regular follow-ups and monitor patients� progress. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients. Collaborate with other medical professionals to coordinate patient care. Stay informed of advancements in gynecological practices and procedures. Participate in health fairs and community outreach programs to promote women's health. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients dealing with health issues. Adhere to hospital policies and healthcare regulations. Required Qualifications Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution. Postgraduate degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MD or DNB). Valid medical license to practice in India. A minimum of 5 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology. Proven experience in performing gynecological surgeries. Strong understanding of reproductive health issues. Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills. Ability to handle emergencies and make quick decisions. Effective communication skills with patients and healthcare colleagues. Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities. Compassionate and patient-centered approach. Dedication to continuing education and professional development. Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and ethical standards. Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
