Job Description

POSITION Pharmacy Manager – In-House Hospital Pharmacy QUALIFICATION • B.Pharm / M.Pharm preferred • Valid Pharmacy Council Registration • Relevant hospital pharmacy qualification and experience EXPERIENCE • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience • Hospital / In-house Pharmacy management experience preferred • Experience in managing pharmacy operations in a multi-speciality hospital will be an added advantage KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Manage day-to-day operations of the in-house hospital pharmacy • Ensure uninterrupted availability of medicines, surgical consumables and other pharmacy items • Supervise pharmacy staff, duty rosters and daily workflow • Manage procurement, inventory, stock levels and timely replenishment • Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, purchase, stores, finance and hospital administration • Ensure proper dispensing of medicines as per prescriptions and hospital protocols • Monitor expiry, near-expiry, damaged and slow-moving stock • Maintain proper documentation of stock receipts, issues, returns and adjustments • Ensure proper storage of medicines as per manufacturer and regulatory requirements • Maintain records for controlled, restricted and high-alert medicines as applicable • Monitor pharmacy billing, pricing, indenting and stock reconciliation • Conduct regular physical stock audits and investigate discrepancies • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement and timely delivery • Implement pharmacy SOPs and ensure compliance with hospital policies • Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy laws, drug regulations and hospital quality standards • Support NABH-related pharmacy documentation and audits • Maintain proper records and reports for hospital management • Train and supervise pharmacy staff regarding dispensing, storage, documentation and patient safety • Ensure medication safety and minimize dispensing errors REQUIRED SKILLS • Strong hospital pharmacy operations and inventory management experience • Good knowledge of procurement, stock control and pharmacy documentation • Leadership and team-management skills • Good understanding of hospital pharmacy workflow • Strong communication and coordination abilities • Computer/HIS/Pharmacy Management Software proficiency • Professional, organized and responsible approach JOB TYPE • Full-Time • Hospital-Based • In-House Pharmacy SALARY 💰 Best in Industry – Negotiable based on qualification and 5+ years of experience BENEFITS • Opportunity to manage pharmacy operations of a 100-bed hospital • Leadership role with multidisciplinary exposure • Supportive hospital management • Long-term career growth opportunity 📩 Interested candidates may share their updated CV along with qualification, total experience, current location, expected salary and notice period.
