Primary job title (standardized): Consultant Gastroenterologist Location: Jeedimetla, Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Telangana — On-site (India) Role & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient clinical management for adult patients with gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary and pancreatic disorders at the Jeedimetla/Secunderabad campus.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, polypectomy, ERCP and EUS, maintaining procedural safety and documentation.
• Lead multidisciplinary care: coordinate with surgery, radiology, hepatology and anaesthesia for complex cases and peri-procedural planning.
• Supervise, train and mentor junior doctors, residents and nursing staff; enforce clinical protocols, infection control and sedation standards in the endoscopy suite.
• • Maintain accurate procedure logs, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, participate in morbidity/mortality reviews and monitor key performance indicators for endoscopy services.
  • Participate in outpatient clinics, emergency call rota and patient education to improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  Skills & Qualifications Must-Have
  • DM/DrNB in Gastroenterology or equivalent postgraduate qualification
  • Current registration with the State Medical Council/NMC and valid practising licence
  • Proven competence in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy including ERCP
  • Clinical experience managing GI emergencies (GI bleeding, acute pancreatitis) and chronic GI conditions (IBD, hepatology)
  • Experience working in a tertiary-care hospital or high-volume endoscopy unit (on-site practice)
  • Fluency in English and working knowledge of local languages (Telugu/Hindi) for patient communication
  Preferred
  • Advanced fellowship or formal training in therapeutic endoscopy/EUS
  • Experience with endoscopy quality metrics, sedation protocols and infection control audits
  • Academic involvement: teaching, publications or clinical research in gastroenterology
