Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with cardiovascular diseases.

  • Monitor post-operative recovery and manage complications effectively.

  • Participate in departmental meetings to discuss patient cases and surgical outcomes.
  • Provide education and mentorship to junior doctors and surgical residents.
  • Lead community outreach programs to promote cardiovascular health awareness.
  • Engage in clinical research to stay abreast of advancements in CTVS.
  • Implement best practices for surgical procedures and patient safety.

Required Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of residency in General Surgery.
  • Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
  • Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
  • Extensive knowledge of cardiovascular pathophysiology.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in CTVS.
  • Demonstrated surgical proficiency in CTVS procedures.
  • Strong understanding of pre-operative and post-operative care.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Research experience and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
