Overview:

As an Interventional Cardiologist DM/DNB Consultant in Shivamoga, Karnataka, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular diseases. Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing interventional cardiology procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, and valvuloplasty.
  • Diagnosing and treating complex cardiovascular conditions including coronary artery disease and heart failure.
  • Providing consultation and guidance to other medical professionals regarding cardiac care.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
  • Conducting outpatient clinics to assess and monitor patients with various heart conditions.
  • Participating in clinical research and contributing to the development of new treatment protocols.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in interventional cardiology and integrating them into practice.
  • Ensuring the highest standard of patient care and safety throughout all procedures.
  • Collaborating with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive cardiac care.
  • Participating in educational initiatives and training programs for medical students and residents.

Required Qualifications:

  • DM or DNB in Cardiology from a recognized institution.
  • Valid medical license to practice as an Interventional Cardiologist in India.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in interventional cardiology post-DM/DNB.
  • Proven expertise in performing complex interventional procedures with precision and skill.
  • Strong clinical acumen and the ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Keen interest in research and the willingness to contribute to academic and clinical advancements.
